Consider Your Ways
"Consider Your Ways!" (Haggai 1:5-7)...Jeremiah pleaded with rebellious people to "search out and examine our ways, And turn back to the LORD..." (Lamentations 3:40-42). Ezekiel pleaded to "repent...turn and live" (Ezekiel 18:30-32). Even today, the plea is "examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves..." (2 Corinthians 13:5). So compare your ways against the standard of God's Word and only have confidence if you are doing the Lord's will from the heart (1 John 2:3-6).
