Wages of Sin
We would feel cheated if the boss lied about our wages. Sin is a lying spiritual boss - God warns of the “deceitfulness of sin”(Hebrews 3:13). Sin tells you lies saying “no costs but only benefits”. Your sin may “seemeth right” (Proverbs 14:12) - even family, friends, and teachers may say your sin is ok - but that is a lie. The Truth is “the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23) but God wants to give you “eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23).
